On the Way to Oliver
After spending a good time with Mack’s parents, we drove with his sister, Emily, and her boyfriend, Noah, to their home in Oliver, BC. It took us about four hours to drive there, and the entire time on the road I couldn’t keep my eyes off of the scenery. Driving through the mountains is one of my favorite things. It was also interesting to watch the terrain change the further east we drove; in the western part of the province there are tonnnss of hemlock and spruce that are very thick. But then closer to Oliver, it gets very desert-y, but still mountainous. It’s so cool. This part of the province is beautiful - it’s been awesome having Emily and Noah to show us around their home.
