Tran's Thanksmas

Since three out of five of my siblings have gotten married, it has made holidays a little bit more complicated because we wanted to share our time with our different families. So we have agreed that every other christmas should be spent with our spouses’ families, which means that thanksgiving will become our christmas. Basically, we celebrated christmas and thanksgiving on the same day. It was awesome.

Mack and I got to my parent’s house in Virginia late on Wednesday night, where Jen surprised Mack with a snack table laid out like the board game Settlers of Catan; it was pretty incredible. On thanksgiving morning, we all got up early and had a huge breakfast before heading into the family room with the christmas tree to open presents. Since having nephews, I think christmas has become a little bit more fun for me. Like everyone else in my family, I love giving gifts! And watching the boys get excited over gifts is exciting to me, so it’s over all a high energy time haha.

My time at home was short, but I am so thankful for the time I got. I have a beautiful family and I love spending time with them.
