I went with the Harding Spring Break Mission group to Quito, Ecuador. We helped teach English classes and make repairs at the HOH Christian Academy. It was humbling to try to teach English... turns out I'm not good at it.
The elevation sickness was the WORST. That was honestly the only terrible thing about this trip. Otherwise, it was an incredible experience. We walked through the countryside visiting old folks in their homes, we hiked to the top of an Andes mountain that topped out at 14,000 feet (???!?!?), we got to go to very top of a cathedral, we walked on the equator.... seriously so incredible. All of it.
